I noticed that dacor's new website is up and running, does this mean that the company is operational now? what is the scoop I was considering the viper for a new reg, but I have heard rumors that the parts availability isn't great. A dealer response would be cool here. thanks

I bought a viper used last october and had it serviced at the time without issue. I was told in late December that the viper would still be serviceable in the future; it's the older models, I'm thinking pre-2001, that are running short on parts. I'm in Oregon as well as can give you the name of the shop that serviced mine if you'd like. :)

yeah why don't you give me the name of the shop thanks :)

The dacor regs post 2001, which includes the viper will be serviceable.
