Actually Lamont your trim was very near zero almost the whole time you were on both rigs. It only felt off.

yeah, that's 'cuz i was kicking to keep it at zero... wasn't zero if i stopped...

and, apparently some of my fiddling with my buoyancy control was because .... someone ... was skin diving down and pressing on my back to get me to dump gas...

" Leon was very patient with my questions, as were the rest of the participants, none of whom asked anywhere near as many as I did, perhaps because nobody else could get a word in edgewise.":rofl3::D:D

Lynne, Glad u asked all the questions and relayed the info! I know very little about them, but from your post I feel as though I can get a grip on understanding them. They fascinate me! Unless I can get a ridiculous amount of money for my old 1970's AquaLung knife... errr... sword, I don't stand a chance at owning one, just drooling over one. I had not even questioned the mere thought of offsetting the buoyancy, just more thoughts on proper balance of breathing mix. Glad u got to go to the class. Had a chance to meet Laura at the Dive Expo last year, what a great lady for her invention!!! (Won't go off topic here) Again, thanks for your post. Couple of the local divers have the RB, respect them so much. Anytime u want me to type out your dictation, glad to be of service! :D:worship::worship:

Leon is an amazing instructor, I took Megalodon class with him ~3 years ago and as Lynne says, he's incredibly knowledgable and patient... He's also fun and awesome!

I know he got a bit of a bad rap in the past for being all militant and hardcore badass and stuff, but although his diving is still hardcore and badass, the man/educator is one of the kindest most genuine folks you'll ever take a class or do a demo with. He just wants everyone safe whilst facilitating fun!

Speaking from knowing him for like 16 years, he's a different fellow than he was in the late 90's. So if peeps have a previously formed impression based on personal or hearsay from years back and have avoided a class or demo day with him, i'd highly recommend revisiting that :)

Great meeting you as well Deb!

(Heleen and Sander invented the She-P, i just helped with marketing and design improvement)

It's not the 'Dark' side it's the 'Enlightened' side....Less is more :) !!!!!
