Hi all,

I have a Nikon D300s for which I'm looking to get a housing and accessories. Any recommendations or experiences regarding housings from different manufacturers would be appreciated, especially with regard to ergonomics, issues you may have encountered, and pros and cons of specific units/setups. I'm just getting into underwater photography with my dSLR after having wanted to for a while, so I'm a novice when it comes to some of this equipment and any information is appreciated.

I use that camera in Aquatica and have been very happy with the reliability and the ergonomics. It's bulky but far less so then the comparable Ike. Aquatica will install Ikelite, Nikonos or Fiber Optic type cable setups for the bulheads depending on your preferences. You should be able to pick up something used as some people are swapping out for the New D 7000 camera.

I have an awesome deal on a great Nauticam D300s housing, new with full warranty, never used. Please contact me for details. This housing has amazing controls, locking ports, flood alarm and many ports available for it.

I have both the Nauticam D7000 & S&S MDX-7000 in stock!

Sea & Sea also make good housings at reasonable prices and are easy to use, not sure about optical strobe connections though as in Aquatica.
