The monitor on my D2H suddenly stopped working after a full day of shooting, the other day. I noticed that same day the word "clock" blinking on the top display (clock battery indicator). Does anybody know if the battery for the clock could affect the monitor function?

Thanks!

Can't say I've seen this happen. Usually you can let the clock battery go right out to flat country and it all works fine.

The battery just doesn't power the clock, though, it also powers CMOS, so who knows what wierdness can happen occasionally. I'd:

Remove both batteries.
Pull the card.
Let the camera sit for 20 minutes to drain the memory.
Use 2-button reset.
Replace both batteries.
2-button reset (again).

Hope it works!

All the best, James

Thanks, James, I'll give it a shot.
