Hi All

Very excited as am going away to Paphos for a week on Sunday!! :crafty: My husband and I have just started diving - I have just got my OW and he is halfway to sportdiver - and we were thinking about doing a few dives whilst we are there. Can anybody recommend some good operators that we should look at? My husband want's to do the Zenobia but I'm going to sit that one out - I don't feel I have the right level of experience for it. I'm just looking for a few relatively gentle shore dives!

I have done a seach on other forums for Cyprus and haven't found much so your help would be most appreciated!!

Don't miss the Zenobia as it's one of the best dives in the world.
The only thing is that in order to enjoy the site, you need a AOW as most of it is under 20m.
Part from this, it's a very easy site to dive in. very clear water and no currents.

We are diving with "Zenobia dive center" in larnaca run by "Andreas".
They have a huge katamaran that make you feel as if you are on shore. You do 2 dives per day as they are all deep dives and they serve lunch on bord.

Totally agree on the Zenobia, it's a stunning dive but not for an OW diver with little experience.

I can recommend Cydive (Paphos). Tel: (00 357) 6234271, fax: (00 357) 6235307

They are really good and very professional.

Have fun and be safe. Let the Board know how you got on when you return!

The Zenobia is an excellent dive site, just be careful of the submarine trips that go down. The driver of it takes no notice of you, and has bumped into the Zen many a time. Great swim throughs, and all the cargo and lorries are still down there.
If anyone is going to Cyprus, and staying in Limasol, I know a great diving centre, I've done all my courses there

If anyone wants pics, i can send them, just PM me

edit: if you get vertigo, dont look down, it looks like a long way
