I have recently purchased a secondhand semidry Mares Isotherm 6.5 mm. The suit fits fairly good with the exception of the neoprene skin seals. I think the guy who owned it previously may have stretched them. I am wondering what everyone's opinion is on cutting the seals and gluing them to make them smaller. The arm seals have a ring of neoprene inside. A local dive shop said they coud do it for $40 but I'm thinking it shouldn't be that hard to do myself with aquaseal. As well, do you think I would need it stitched or should the aquaseal hold ok?

Thanks.

I don't know how well aqua seal would hold up the the stretching and pulling. Stitching would be my plan as well as maybe some heat tape.
