hey all, im looking to get a aquatica d90 case, if I buy it in the uk it's going to costޣ1500; of the net from the US $1800 (ޣ1220)

question i have is, how much should I expect to pay for customs and then in turn courier uk who charge for bringing it through?

Ta

I don't know about the UK, but here in Chile we pay about 50%. 30% (19% VAT and 11% for import duties) for the taxes/duties and the other 20% goes to the agent for clearing the goods from customs.

But as these thinngs change from country to country, you'd probably be best off asking in FedEx or the courier would do the import.

The main cost is normally VAT. I blieve it is 15% (possibly 17.5%) in the UK. Customs duty in the EU countries is not normally very high (it is 6% here in Sweden). I've no idea what UK couriers charge but the Swedish Post Office charges about ޣ10. You're obviously not going to save much, if anything, by buying from the US but you'll have to check for yourself.
