Custom WB and Lights for Video

Hi there, I'm looking for some basic advice on white balance when using video lights. I just got back from a trip with my first non-gopro camera and got decent results with just using custom WB on a slate every time the depth changed. I had an i-Torch pro mini (750 lumen) light but couldn't get decent results with it so I didn't use it much (everything was still blue - I was using auto WB).

I now have 2 x 750 lumen i-Torch pro mini's and tray / arms with a Canon G15 and Canon Housing (no WA lenses at this point). When using the lights with a subject 2-5 feet away, what do I set my WB to? Auto? Custom WB on a white slate? I would imagine that anything beyond 5 feet would still be customer WB on a slate. I have some testing to do once the water warms here, but looking for a good starting point from the experts here.

Every light has a set temperature try to find out what's the temperate of your?

The specs for the lights say 5000-10,000 k, which doesn't appear to be too helpful...

Most likely is around 7000K as it is a cred led
