yesterday was 70 on the surface down about 20 feet then went to 60... still a lot of cool water in the bay. the thermocline is just starting to form, we hope it comes soon! it has been colder for longer this year!

Hello there, 5mm should be fine, water temperature has been fluctuating from 72 F degrees to around 68 F degrees. Sometime the termoclines get to you at shallow depths like 30-40 feet, but also it could happen they get to you as you pass the range of the 60 feet more or less. Last days has been a little bit windy in the area so maybe bringing a nice jacket to put on after your dives in between meantime you surface interval would be a good idea. I mean it always depends on how fast you get cold, but 5 mm should be fine. Probably a hood could be an add on that works fine to that 5mm.

Summer time is arriving so even tough is a little bit windy, Cabo´s weather has been relatively warm, during the day. Chances are you will be using your A/C at your hotel at some point. Do you have already booked your dives with some divestore on town or do you need still one my friend?

Hello from Cabo, If you are used to cold water you should be Ok with a 5mm and hooded vest. I would also bring gloves. Our 5mm suits are new so they really keep you warm.
Cond.s have been good here in Cabo this week and were looking forward to another great summer.
