the wife and i were there saturday and did two dives, the water was about 71 at the plane. We did shallower dives and stayed above forty feet. I wore my 7mm one piece with no hood or gloves and my wife her 6mm two piece no hood or gloves. We were both comfty till we hit the thermocline at about 45 ft and we decided to go back up a bit. I didn't notice the temp at the thermocline.

I'd almost bet that the water temps are gonna take a nose dive this week.... tuesday, it's supposed to be a low of 41... and several days below average temps. It'll cool the water off.

To a point, but water is surprisingly slow to change temperatures. It warms up slowly in the spring and cools slowly in the fall. It all depends upon the magnitude of the temp change and the volume of water being heated or cooled. My quess would be that it drops a degree or two at most, but we shall see.

I was there last Wed; it was about 50 at the tubes.
