Considering a trip to curacao and have specific preferences. Looking for suggestions that would fit the criteria.

We want a place to stay that has a full kitchen for cooking meals, has a beach and has a pool. We want shade in the area of the pool and in an area for sitting in shade with a view of the beach. Would like a place to stay that has a grocery within a reasonable driving distance.

For diving, the dive shop can be based where we are staying or someplace within reasonable driving distance. We will be renting a car. I want to hire a private guide for my shore diving. Not planning on doing any boat diving. I want a dive shop where I can store my wetsuit and BCD during our visit. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. That looks interesting, indeed.

Please report back after your trip.

The house reef is one of the best on the island BTW.

Dive Bus will pick you up and take you to shore dive locations.

Can I hire a private guide from Dive Bus? As a photographer, I travel slower than non-photographer divers.

We have always been a group of four, with two of us photographers. If we swam any slower we would be going backwards. The dive bus guides have always been very good at spotting macro subjects, and accommodating our dive profiles. Just email them and tell them what you need.

Coral Estates
Looked into diving if we stayed at Coral Estates. Coral Divers, their house dive shop, requires full payment to make a reservation and has a zero refund policy. While I would not expect any cancellation, when looking at making a reservation so far in advance, I would prefer to have some options.
