Been to Bonaire about 14 times, mainly stay at Capt Dons or Buddy Dive.
Really like the setup at both, easy access to great house reef and boat diving. Sometimes don't rent a truck just dive the house reef and do boat dives. Always get at least a uwave and minifridge, Buddy Dive studios are perfect with full kitchens, bring lots of food with us and walk to local eateries, grocery stores in evenings.
If we do Curacao it would be for about 2 weeks and we would rent a truck for at least a week to explore.
Is there anything like that on Curacao?
Thanks

Find a good Rijsttsfel place. We did it once with just the 2 of is which was good, but its better with a group. We once talked a bunch of people from our dive boat into it.

The ostrich farm is interesting on that last non-dive day, and we liked the restaurant there.

I just got in on Saturday. Dive shop I use said the Superior Producer ladder is out of action. Have you heard anything about it?

We dived Superior Producer yesterday. There was improvised ladder (aluminium ladder secured with rope to adjacent pier handrail on top only) on site to climb out.

By no means anything fancy and require a little bit of coordination with buddy, but it did the job
