We normally stay at Breeze's but dive with The Dive Bus - WELCOME so we spend very little time at the resort. It works for us (7th trip this August). Breeze's is not high end by any means but is easy & good location. BTW, the Dive Bus now has a few rental units on site. Looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks.

All West in Westpundt has the view and the dive affiliation with OEW. The price is right too. Kura Hulanda is my favorite but wait for a special otherwise it's $$$$$$

We have had great experiences with Lodge Kura Hulanda. Of course it is more higher end, but I have heard many good things about All West which is less expensive.

Thanks...CUR Sunshine..I am in CUR often..usually to catch the MIA flight on AA at 7:40 AM. A tour would be grande. I stayed at Breezes once courtesy of Air Jamaica when they cancelled my flight from BON (years back). LOVE Kura Hulanda. Will check All West. Anyone stay at Marazul?

I have stayed at both All West and Lodge Kura Hulanda. I thoroughly enjoyed both places; they are very different from each other. The LKH offers more of a vacation get away resort feel. Gorgeous, manicured landscaping with a pristine swimming pool. Rooms are nice sized with large patios. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms stocked with Aveda products and daily maid service. Convenient restaurants on site, although the food quality is not proportionate to the prices.

All West is a DIY type of lodging. Weekly maid service, furnishings are reasonable and practical. No t.v. You are responsible for stocking your own soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. Rooms are surprisingly large and the layout(at least of the one bedroom apts and Jr. Suites) is ideal where the bathroom and kitchen face the road, bedroom and living room face the ocean. The only noise I heard was the ocean.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at both properties. My preference leans towards the All West. The price is at least 1/2 of what you would pay at the LKH. tank. I especially appreciate that the tank room is at the same height as the car. So no schlepping up and down the stairs(except to dive at the house reef)to load tanks into car. The tank room is always clean, secure and open 24 hours and there is ample space to store gear. Although my main reason for returning to All West is the view. All rooms are ocean front and CLOSE to the ocean. The ocean front rooms at the LKH are nice, but the AW views are unbeatable!

I have only walked by the Marazul. It looks nice and recent reviews have been favorable. From what I have read on this board, there were issues but these seemed to resolve with a change in management.

We stayed at Marazul and would return any time. We had originally planned to stay at All West but the "no TV" was the deciding factor. Really the only two negatives where the steep stairs to the upstairs bedroom and the fact that the electric got shut off on our last night. But the manager came over within 15 minutes and fixed it for us. Otherwise place was clean, nice landscaping, pool and gorgeous views.
