Curacao hotels (need one for 1 night)

Ok so I got my trip planned out (I think) Going to get to Curacao on Jan 2nd, and want to book with coral paradise on jan 3rd (earliest they had availability). So now the problem is finding a hotel for 1 night. It can be on Bonaire or Curacao, I'd imagine since Curacao is bigger it'd be a little easier. Anyone have any recommendations for a no frills (but not nasty) hotel that I could stay at for a night before taking off from CUR to BON on Sunday?

How is the Howard Johnson hotel? Looks like it is going for like $116 a night.

There is a hotel, right outside of the airport, nothing fancy by any means, but works. We have used it in the past. Here is the link:

The taxi ride is about $10 one way (if you are ambitious, it is easy to walk as well).

If you want to take a taxi to one of the hotels in town, it will cost a minimum of $25 each way, so you are best at the Airport Hotel. They have a little casino (never been in) and a small local style restaurant/snack.
