Hit the lake yesterday with all this nice warm water to start the season. The water was still pretty cold, 52 degrees at about 15 ft. Vis was poor but what is expected this time of year, maybe 4-5 ft. No fish to be seen. This should all change and improve in the coming weeks. Nice to get a dive in, but this was one was fairly short. Hope everyone has a safe and fun dive season. New England Dive Shop in Wallingford is having their Spring Dive Season Kick off Sale. Check out their website. Purchased a new Sealife Micro HD Camera. They have Sealife reps today and tomorrow and are offering special pricing. TK

We did the first half of a checkout dive for four students yesterday at Wallum Lake (MA/RI border). Bottom temp averaged about 55*F. Viz was terrible, about 6', less when the bottom got stirred up. Good to get in the (non pool) water finally. I skipped day two at Cape Ann today to do Mother's Day activities.
