Me and the wife are heading out there. We probably wont camp but will be out there.
I will post up when we arrive so y'all know where to find us.
We are thinking about 3 dives Sat.

No one else going out?
Weather looks to be upper 80s...
I am going to bring some chicken breasts marinated in either some KC BBQ sauce or some stubbs... maybe some shrimp too if it is on sale...

Once again I was over at the swamp, Saturday. Nice weather and water is still going up, 53° @ 30' and a bit over 60° in the surface area. Robert had a report of surface temps of 70°, but whoever said that was smokin' duck weed. More people coming out every week now.
Dropped down at the dock in the 1st pic & headed 30°. After a 20 min swim and seeing nothing, I hit the boat shown in the 3rd pic. Aha, didn't know it was there so I got a treat! I liked it so much I did it again on the 2nd dive, so a couple 45 min dives for the day.

I couldn't get a digital signal to let y'all know where we were. We were on the left side.

Franco, I think I saw you as we setup for our second dive as you were leaving. We dove on the rightside and checked out Sisko. That ladder needs one more rung. ;)

Clarity was ok, depending on where you went.

Sisko was fun to dive through.
Our 3rd dive we stayed to the shallows and watched the schools of bass. That was fun.

No pics as the wife's camera hasn't shipped yet....

I'll be heading out again tomorrow and will be on the left side. Some of our group is camping out...

Hey Frank, Have you found this yet?
Nope, never saw that yet. Where'd you find that?

p.s.- no thanks to the name change. ;)

Lee, was that you with the group in the white p/u? If it was, I gotta say that I never saw people kit up as fast as what "youse guys" did. Really, I saw you pull up and get out of the truck. I got in my car and spun around and looked at your group and everyone was kitted up :amazed:

Yeah, you have to go knees first on those stairs, but it seems at a good depth once you get used to it. And sorry if it was kicked up a bit when you jumped in there. I was flushing my RB and concentrating on the readouts on my computer and mucked it up a bit there. :shakehead:

That was us. We had all our gear ready as that was our second dive... we did a giant stride off the entryway... getting out, it needed a second rung... :)

No worries about the muck. We went to Sisko and looked around a bit. After that we headed back to the other side and stayed in the war 60s of the shallows. :)

We saw quite a few schools of Bass and the Catfish were only below the thermoclines...

Apologies for the name change :D

If I remember correctly, it is just a bit left of your heading from Saturday in 10-15 ft, and about 1/2 to 3/4 of the distance. Hopefully I will see you out there soon, we'll do a Mine sweep
