headed out to the pond after class today trying to beat the up coming storms. Arrived around 2, park was pretty much empty besides Texdiveguy (I am starting to think he lives out there).

Dive 1. - Went out with the intention of trying to dial in my trim, I have been having issues with my feet trying to sink on me when I am not thinking about it. Seems that the little change in my harness position and taking all weights off of it, fixed everything.Vis was the worst I have seen it out there. Below 30-35 it was down to inch's, just a thick black curtain of no vis. Above 30 vis was spotty going from a few feet to one foot max. Worked on my navigation, hit a few platforms then headed to the silo, did a bag shoot in zero vis, then headed to the old boat and the new one. Hit everything pretty much dead on, which was good cause I did not see them till I was there. Did not even go in the new boat, as even with my HID light, I could not see my hands. Funny enough while in route to the boat, I all of a sudden felt air bubbles hitting me, first thought is oh ****, what happened, then I realized out of the huge park and the one other diver in the water parked at the opposite end of the park we nearly collided, never saw him just saw his exhaust.
Max depth 53 feet, 1:16 min. dive.

Dive two, just played around with my lift bag, and followed some school of bass around the park. Found some good vis, in the middle of the park by all the rocks. Their is some real interesting looking growth on the ground, not really sure what it was, but it was a bright blue, pretty strange to see it in the black water. This dive was awesome, just super relaxing. In the dark by myself, with only my diving on my mind. Just what I needed after a long week of school and work.
Max depth 36 feet, 1:35 min dive time .

Oh I also found a zeagle yellow thingy. No weights in it, but if anyone lost one let me know.

Same here. After you left the weather got really nice. I was expecting to come up to pouring rain the way it was looking. I was just happy to get in a few dives with no storms.

You were diving solo!?

I'm tellin' Mom!

Now that is funny. Glad you guys didnt have a head on. I would say that would classify as quite confusing underwater. I almost had a head on with a tree at windy point once, saw it at about 6 inches in front of me, just in time to move my head to the side.

Glad you had a good day.
