saturday scooter dive at CSSP.
70 minutes at 30 ft around the lake on scooters starting at the North staircase.
Vis was a good 6 to 10 ft. in less traveled areas; lower around the usual places.
Temp was in the mid seventies and in a 5mm awesome; hood made it great.

We stopped at the plane and there was a techincal diver running a line.
To the gent in doubles and O2 tank nice knots and line.
My dive buddy did not see you concentrating on lifting the panel.

My dive buddy busted the strap on his Atom dive watch.
The fit was so good that it was just sitting on his arm even with the broken strap.
Poor guy busted VR3 and Atom in two weeks.

We did the usual hang at fifteen ft and hung empty clam shells on a friends cave line that ran to 30ft.

Scooters ! ..
Tech. Divers at CSSP ? Running line !! Like a.... What for
A broken watch band ........:shakehead:

Deep breaths Timeliner. Deep breaths.
Remain calm. The world still turns on its' axis.

Dove the pond today/Sunday solo.

Was not that crowded out at the park....few classes was about it.

Viz was almost zero at some points to 8ft. at other spots.

Water temps were: 78F @ 5ffw
71F @ 43ffw
58F @ 59ffw

Did 2 skills dives (bags shots/line work/tank handleing/deco hangs/nav. compass work).

Dive #1 105 minutes
#2 93 minutes

No scooter......... :depressed:

Had a good day....nice weather..... :)

Hey Frank,

The diving was practice.
My buddy moved over to a Diverite Nomad; so we were working on rigging out the new system. Scooters were fun until my Octo starting free flowing from the prop wash. A few more changes.

Yeah, we need a get together.

How was the show in New York?

Andrew

Alan,
Glad to hear you had a good dive.
105 minutes is a long time in that lake.
Not to mention it gets cold so darn fast.

Come out to the divesite, have some Nitrox, enjoy perch, mud and clams.
Good time by all.

Not fair who told you that! My Nitrogen loading was fine. :D
Now running the computer in Metric was interesting.

You're gonna die ! ! ! !
I see you found the bottom of the pond. Congratulations!

I was thinking ahead----7mil full suit//5mil hood and gloves....I was very comfy.....I covered the whole pond as you might know. Still had enough gas for 3rd. 60+ minute dip but wanted to listen to the Cowboys game so I packed up. :D

Didn't notice the Cowboys playing much football yesterday. Are you sure you're not mistaken?
