We are taking a cruise in early December and will have the opportunity to dive on 5 different islands. But, due to budgetary restrictions we will only be doing 3 two tank dives during the trip. :(

Of these islands / areas which 3 would you recommend that we do:

Aruba
Bonaire
Dominica
Grenada
St. Thomas

Thanks for any advice you can provide. Also, we have a non-diver, but snorkeler that will be traveling with us, would the snorkeling be the same recommendations as the certified dives?

Thanks!!!

Bonaire, far and away.

Grenada? I would suggest and rather tour the island- so lovely. Diving? they will drag you out and plop you deep into the swimming pool of the wrecked passenger ship.

St. Thomas and Aruba... I would drink or shop, certainly in Aruba.

Dominica has some interesting diving. Can you access it from a cruise ship? Doubtful. Most any decent dive-op would want to watch you for a day before they took the risk.

Bonaire beats them all.
