I would say it could be possible, if you're handy with a sewing machine, but not sure if it is worth the risk of puncturing the bladder. The bladder pretty much goes down to the bottom seam in the back of the BC. It would also most likely void any manufacturer's warranty (if there is any).

What does the plastic plate under the back pad look like? the Oceanic Pro looks pretty much the same as the Aeris Sport, and if it's anything like my current Aeris BC the back pad may be held in by a loop of Velcro through a slot in the plastic plate. That slot should be big enough to thread a 1" crotch strap through. Then just loop the other end around the cumberbund ( I've considered this myself)
