I took this photo at Champagne Reef in the sand in Dominica in May. I haven't been able to identify it yet. It was very tiny and I'm not sure what the rest of what was in the hole looked like.

Very pretty-----wish I would have gone a little slower there(@ Champagne) now----lol....

It's a marine polychaete. I suspect Platynereis. Not sure of the actual species.
 
I venture to say that Tridacna is right on this one, but it's a barely educated guess (looks like a polychaete, but I'm not familiar with marine specimens). Okay, Thalassamania, where are you? I'm betting he'll know this one down to the species.

Maybe, but this is the right place and you will get an accurate answer here. Many good marine biologists review this forum.

EDIT:-forget it, see now how to find it....but that's today, tomorrow's another time....lol
