Is anyone using the cressi-sub ellipse reg in cold water? I read a review where the regulator was a good breather, and I am considering purchasing one. I dive mostly in the pacific off the oregon coast. Sometimes in local rivers and lakes where water temp is around the high 30's farenheit (in march local lakes) and the mid 60's (Pacific). Also where is a good place to buy online or otherwise (by good place I mean with warranty.) I was thinking specifically of their cold water model (I think its called the Alaska or something like that)

Hi brihno - I'm up here in Eugene, and I am thinking the same thing. I'm looking at the Cressi Ellipse Inline Piston - am ordering thru DiveINN since I want DIN first stage instead of yoke and 1) no one sells Cressi in my area and 2) I like the features and price of Cressi - The Italians have a way with scuba gear.. You might try there and see - I'm getting mine with free 3 day shipping so I can't complain about that.
