The dive centers all accept Visa and Mastercard, and lots carry Amex. They are not supposed to charge extra charges, it is strongly discouraged by the San Pedro business assoc. If you are charged an extra fee please let us know so we can follow up.

Most places want an extra 3 and 3/4% to 4% for credit card purchases. At our resort here in southern Belize we generally eat that if the person is likeable.
