I am uploading a picture of me hugging a shark (actually, I am applying touch therapy) in Key Largo. Captain Slate has been feeding and cuddling various creatures around there for 23 years, though the sharks have only been coming around for 4 years. He even cuddles Moray Eels (but doesn't hand them to other divers).

Amazing, these sharks actually seemed to enjoy being touched. At one point, one of the larger ones was going by, when 2-3 divers went to "pet" it. It stopped in it's tracks and just waited over the sand while 3 divers petted it.

"Touch Therapy"? Please explain......
Is this therapy for the sharks? Or us humans?
Therapy? For Sharks?
Sorry if I sound as if I am suprised. Is anyone paying for this therapy (seriously)? Like a grant or research or such?
Is this possibly a way to get around the "no feeding" rule and still interact (and promote tourisim to make money) with teh sharks but advertising "touch therapy" for sharks?

Warm regards.

I did a bit of reading:

So there is touch therapy.... and it supposdley is a working thing.. but my question stands..

Are there dive operators that are going to try and "disquise" this as a "creature feature"? Make Money! Yay..?
