There was a time I didn't believe in God... but that time is long past and it is impossible now for me to go back to unbelief.

You just don't know what you don't know.

I think that's true with a lot of people. When I was younger I was pretty sure that there wasn't a God. The older I get the less I doubt it. The concept of a God has been around too long and is in every culture on Earth in some form of belief. I'm still not sure exactly what God is....but there has to be some higher being than Man. Because if there isn't, it's a scary thought to think that we're the most intelligent beings in this universe.

Yes OK......but does that mean that any higher life form than man that's out there should be considered God for the simple reason they are more intelligent than us? That's a big stretch in my mind. I don't see the connection.

I do not support any form of Fanatical Organized Religion. What do I mean by Fanatical Organized Religion? Simple, Those who think that just because you do not follow their beliefs you're condemmed to eternal damnation, and feel it is their duty to remind you all the time, and even worse, try to save you.

Why is it all these discussions degenerate into doing DIR or not!?!?!?!

did Jesus die for the aliens too, or just for us?

how many times has God died on a cross for a particular planet?

do you have to believe in the "Jesus" of your planet, or can you travel to another planet, believe in "their" Jesus and be saved?

the questions get more interesting:

did some planets pass the test and remain in Eden? what happens when the star those planets orbit go Supernova? what's their population like, since they never die?

why did God go around creating all the planets, populating them with people, and then dying for them?

are there different heavens for different alien races, or do we all get to hang out in the same heaven?
