Hi,
I'm new to the snorkling scene, hopefully one day scuba. Anyway
I have been informed if a wetsuit gets creased, that all one has to do
is hang it up for awhile in an airing cupboard and the creased
neopprene will be back to normal, is this true? Hope someone can help.
Many thanks.

it probably wont be back to 100% but it will sure help. always keep your wetsuit hung on a very wide hanger. i hang my 3mm suit on about 6 plastic regular hangars. my 7mm is on a special wetsuit hangar. you want to spread the load bearing area on the shoulders.

and btw, what the #$&@ is an airing cupboard?

I had the same question and did a Google search:

Noun 1. airing cupboard - a warm cupboard where you put newly washed clothes until they are completely dry closet, cupboard - a small room (or recess) or cabinet used for storage space

Hi,
"Airing cupboard" Yea sorry it's an English description.
Thanks for your help Codyjp.
And thanks Koreanflogger for the interpretation.
All the best,
Jeff

Sometimes putting a suit in a clothes drier at a low heat setting can help. I've done this several times an been amazed at the success of the result.
