im not really into hunting durring my dives but last year i met a couple divers on lake simcoe in ontario canada diving for crawfish to cook up for dinner has anybody out there heard of this before i am interested in a maybe interesting dinner this summer

I'm not sure of legality with hand catching, but please remember subaquatic spearfishing OF ANY KIND is illegal in ontario.

Glad you find it funny. lots of people do. ever tried to catch something while wearing drygloves? :hmmm:
 
Mudbugs, YUM!
I used to snorkel for the critters, one of those floating bait buckets made for a good holding container. Once full, it was good for 2 people.
Don't forget to purge the critters in saltwater to get them to crap out their dinner.
You'll also want to cook them up in shrimp/crawfish boil spice, or at the very least some dill.
