What are they doing?
Bottom Fishing?
No really,,,didn't some of the concrete slabs fall into the water from the last big storm? I'd guess it's cheaper to retrieve & replace than to make new ones plus "stiffen" the upright pilings that wiggled loose.
................Just my wild guess...............

Whenever there isn't a cruise ship docked at the pier visible from this webcam there are a couple of cranes on it. What are they doing?
A lot of people tend to overeat while on their cruise. The cranes are probably there to assist some of them off the ship. 😂😂😂

They may be connecting some of the spans at the end. The end of the pier really isn’t usable to move people /goods , just there to keep boat from moving. At the very end there is a metal span connecting to concrete emplacements (sure there is better term) Where one of the cranes is there isn’t even a metal span connecting the concrete emplacements—just an open gap.

Whatever it is they're taking their time... Been passing around there all week and not much action. There's a piling waiting for a driver.
