Hello Poseidon experts, I recently picked up this regulator on CL and wanted to know if it is a Cyklon 300 or 5000. The seller said it is at least 10 years old, and said it was a Cyklon but did not have anymore information.
I plan on using this with an old steel 72 that I have laying around. It also came with a pressure gauge.
Thanks

Cyklon 300
First stage has metric port threads

Looks like one I purchased used in the 80's. I keep it tuned and still breathes well. I use it on my pony.

Do old Poseidon Cyklon regulators have value? I think that my husband has 2 or 3 of them around. We are warm water vacation divers so they didn't get that much use. Maybe I should try to sell them on Craiglist?

No! They're dangerous! Send them to me and I will make sure they are disposed of properly. They are life support equipment, take no chances! :)

unfortunately Poseidon's as a whole are a very polarized market which has caused value to go way down, though those of us that love them certainly won't part with them
