It's a scorpion fish.

Nice pictures, I love Folly Cove, best shore dive in NE. Rick the first fish is a Sculpin, the second is a Sea Raven. They look somewhat similiar, but look for the fringe around the mouth which indicates it's a Sea Raven. No fringe = Sculpin.
 
It really is a great site...and having 30 feet of visibility makes it all the better.

My favorite pictures are actually of all the anenomes. I think those came out just great...truly gives you a sense of the unique characteristics of New England diving.

Just so we don't confuse everybody, Sculpins & Sea Ravens (and Sea Robins and Barbfish & several others whose common name includes "Scorpion") are all Scorpion fishes.... :)
