I'm diving in Cozumel with ShoreTrips July 8 while on the Miracle cruise. Has anyone used this company before. I'm a newbie doing a 2 tank dive.

ShoreTrips generally does an adequate job. If you're an infrequent diver looking for moderate diving (not too deep, but enjoyable), their vendor should do a good job for you. Almost always less expensive than the ship's vendor. You might want to communicate with them and ask who they're currently using. Wouldn't be surprised if it's Sand Dollar Sports. I just checked an it will be Aqua Safari. As a newbie, am I in good hands, er, good wet suits?

Also, I'll be wearing a skin and my own shortie & mask and fins, renting everything else. I have an adequate layer of fat so I dont think I'll get cold. Sound right to you?

Water temperature is in the low 80's... getting cold is not an issue in Coz. Many people dive in just a T-Shirt and swimsuit.
