Just back from Coz & finished up editting my video. This is my 2nd week long trip using a single Sola 1200 attached to my rig: Sony DCR CX-550 HD camcorder/Amphibico housing. For daytime use of the light full strenght: definitely flip the color filter UP, manual white balance & shoot...especially for anything closer than 4 or even 5 feet. In fact, without the light on for noon time, ample ambiant light, I'm getting generally better results WITHOUT the red filter as long as I white balance often. But the real kickass performance of this light comes into play at night - check out the amazing clarity & color of the several octopus shot @ Paradise Reef:

Good footage, thanks for sharing.
Why do some of the colors look super green on some of the fish fins and such?
