Colombia Shallows. It's a 30' max dive with coral heads reaching within 6' of the surface. Usually there is little to no current there. I always spend a lot of the dive hanging near the coral with my magnifying glass looking at tiny stuff.I am coming down this summer and want to concentrate my diving on finding and shooting GREAT macro photos. What are the best dive sites for this? Who is the best "critter finding" dive guide ?
Sure. Just go to the dive shop between 7:30AM and 5PM and rent tanks and weights and jump in.I am not diving with Blue Angel. Will they allow me to do a shore dive in front of their shop?
If you Dive with Blue Angel, tell Jose you like macro. I think that is his favorite. He consistently looks for and finds juvenile everything, plus pipe horses, etc. and marks the site in the sand with a couple of small pieces of something he finds so that the next time he is there he knows where to look, all while respectful to the life. Amazing.
