Cozumel in 3 months

I'm actually *hoping* to plan a trip in about 3 months. I hadn't planned a trip to Coz this year, but if the tax man's kind, I'm going to see if I can swing a trip now. What with the way the current sweeps Coz, I have absolutely no doubt that vis will be back up and as soon as the boats are ready and compressors are running, the DMs, boat captains and dive ops will be back in the water cleaning up the reefs of debris, as happened right after Emily. (Of course, I normally dive in max 10-15 feet of vis, so *anything* over that and I'm totally happy )

Christi also reported after Emily that there were all kinds of very cool and unusual critter sightings, such as unusual sharks and such - I'd be *quite* interested in getting down there and seeing if that happens again .

I went after Emily and the critters were definitely stirred up, and yes there were some unusual sightings. The most surprising thing was seeing them out of their "usual" haunts and doing things out of their normal character--octopus out hunting during the day, more turtles than I've seen in recent trips, fish acting strangely, etc. And there were definitely a LOT of sharks, although my group didn't get to see them.

I'll let you know when we get back from our Thanksgiving trip--we're going, one way or another!
