I have been diving with Blue Angel for several years, and I recommend them highly. They are associated with Caribe Blu hotel.

YOU GUYS ARE ALL AWESOME! This Board is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks for all the great advice, and see you down there in January!

The only dive op worth diving with is Liquid Blue.[/url]

I'm curious how you arrived at this conclusion.

I've had great trips with Living Underwater and Liquid Blue. They are not cheap - $85 for a 2 tank trip, but the service they provide is what I want and I feel like it's a good value. Living Underwater takes care of all our gear, including wet suits. They pick us up at the pier where ever we're staying, small fast boat with a small group, seat cushions make a difference on the fast ride, we dive where we want, I find the steel tanks more comfortable, water and other drinks, snacks, fruit, towels, jackets when it's cold or raining, SI's at a beach club...

Although I've only used two shops, I don't think there is a bad shop on the island. They each provide a service that appeals to their customers - whether it's amentities, type of diving, type of boat or price. Cozumel is one of the few diving destinations where everyone can find their ideal dive operator. It's just a matter of being clear about what you want and how much you want to pay.

Blue XT SEA !!!! Service is top notch- 6 pack boats, VERY experienced DM's , careful attention to individual needs....Have a wonderful time !!! Sue

This pretty much says it all, especially the last sentence.....

I go several times a year and always dive with Scuba Du...they are awsome!!!!
request fast boats and ask to dive the shallow dives...we were there a few months ago, and the shallow dives 50-60' were awsome.....the deeper ones are still recovering from last years hurricane

ask if you need more

Actually, it's generally the shallower, more northerly spots that were hit hardest by the hurricane. There are some sites that are (IMO) not worth going back to yet and may not recover in my lifetime. The farther south and deeper you go, the less damage you will see.

I've had 3 post-hurricane trips and with each trip I've noticed improvements. My experience has been that the more southern and deeper sites are doing better then the shallower ones.
