We put the plaque down on November 4 and yesterday I got a chance to go out and clean it of the seven months of algae growth. (Many thanks to Susy Horowitz who went with me and was co-cleaner.) What we also discovered (evident in the "after" pix) is that the plaque mfg sprayed a clear-coat on it that is now coming off. We'll likely remove this eventually. If you visit the plaque, please avoid the temptation to pull off loose pieces of the clear-coat until we get a better handle on how to deal with it.
