Actually Beaver Tail PL #3 was one of my favorite spring dives in late March.

Water was cold and clear and you dive along the ledge out there and come back in through the tunnels. When you get out, its nice and warm and have lunch on the lawn overlooking Narr. Bay and warm up in the sun.

I'm not sure why I am living in CT still.

Connecticut has some nice aquariums, the Subforce museum, Electric Boat, Super-Duper Weenie, Mystic Seaport, the Place at Guilford, Yale and some nice areas to dive every once in a while? Just some thoughts during a "hawd" New England winter. :)

Cheers,

Summer is almost here!

explore the waters of connecticut and catch many lobsters as possible:D

Same as marcosdutra except in MA...

Where do you guys dive in CT for lobsters? I heard of people diving off Fishers Island for some really large bugs.

Spring coming, what are your plans for diving?

:sblogo:

my biggest goal is to become more comfortable with my new scooter (Dive Xtras Sierra) in anticipation of a summer of heavy diving.

That and just getting out whenever I can.

I would say the outer breakwaters of Stonington Point would be you best bet in CT at night. Don't expect much as Lobstering in CT is suffering immensely.

There is talk about shutting down the lobstering industry for 5 years from CT to Cape Cod I believe.
