Couldn't Dive...So Took Some Pictures

Some days when I can't dive...I at least have to go look at the water, smell the salt in the air, then I can make it for a few more days till I can dive again. A family member was commenting how I dove the last two weekends...I told them that I now view work days as simply a long Surface Interval.

If you are like me and couldn't dive this weekend....maybe these pictures will help you like they helped me. They were taken at Okaloosa Island Peir in Fort Walton Beach, FL this afternoon.

Diggin the great blue heron!
 
He was pretty cool. Everyone was catching lampreys (sp) all over the place. Some fisherman was feeding them to the herons. They were enjoying it.

BTW, took these with the G10 in RAW. Got to play with RAW for the first time.

I really like the picture with the heron on the rail and the sunlight reflecting off the water. NICE!
 
Thanks, there were 3 herons on the pier just waiting for bait to hit the deck. They were very entertaining.
