Hi

I'm wondering. Due to the close proximity of Coral Paradise to Buddy Dive, does this imply that Coral also has a house reef? Or is the entry closer to another location?
I may be traveling to Bonaire with a bunch of people who may not be 'morning people' and want to make sure in those scenarios, there are reefs I can just walk over to from the hotel.

Also, is buddydive no longer offering hotel room rates anymore? I noticed that in their 2015 it seems to be missing. Thanks

Coral Paradise is not oceanfront, but you can easily walk to entries for La Machaca (Habitat's house reef) or The Cliff (via 7 Body Beach or Dive Friends Hamlet shop.)

Thanks. I'm assuming they're close enough to walk with all the gears relatively easily? I google mapped and it appears Hamlet and Habitat are only a couple of hundred feet away.

With your vacation package you may want to relax or just get away for a while. In a 45 second walk from your pool-side room at Coral Paradise Resort is a little beach area. Just take the 10 steps down to the sandy beach and you’re in a whole different setting....You can also dive from the beach, as a matter of fact, the dive site "Cliff" is just yards away from your entrance where you can explore the enticing reef as well as the underwater world of Bonaire diving.

More than you probably want to know but since I had it all in Google Earth for someone else - Cliff is listed just above "Villas" but IMO it starts farther south - we swam there easily from Habitat's dock:

Although that Dive Friends is only shore diving they keep a boat at a site nearby. Also they have about 5 locations so if you're shore diving elsewhere it might be worth considering - or the Buddy's drive thru.

When we stayed at CP, we got our tanks at Habitat, basically around back and down a path through the resort, three minutes. That allowed us to use Habitat's lockers, gear room, dock, and rinse tanks, with easy access to Machaca/Cliff/Scientifico. Dive Friends and Buddy's are both further than I'd want to schlep, but a moment's drive. Buddy's and DF both have drive-by tanks, and Don's doesn't, although there's easy parking and a short walk to the tanks (no free Nitrox). Don's dock and facilities are easy in and out, and the reef(s) right offshore are plenty good for several dives both north and south.

Been to CP twice so far, got our tanks at buddy dive both times. Did several daytime and night dives at La Machaca and Cliff from the same entry point a short walk between the villas after gearing up at CP. Closer than dive friends or habitat. Could be a little further walk than some would want to do, I ended up carrying my wife's DSLR for her. I would approximate it as 40-50 yards on flat terrain with a short set of steps at the waters edge
