Copyrights on Buhlmann tables?

Hello folks,
I wrote a program that uses buhlmann tables for decompression schedules given the depth, time, gas, SI similar to vplaner or voyager. Can I distribute this without getting in trouble for "stealing" the knowledge on the buhlmann tables? I hear that the navy tables are freeware, but the buhlmann might not be reproduced without paying a license? Any help would be great. I wrote the program because I feel the ones on the market were not that user friendly.

If you are copying the tables and there is a copy right issued, you might be infringing. If you are using the data beind the tables, rework the data and that comes out of your program and that is similar to these tables, then you should be fine. If you prefer to talk about this in private, pm me.
