Ikelite has the CoolPix L18 and a housing on their web page. It looks like a good combination. When you read the information about the camera, under the 15 modes, there isn't an underwater mode. Has anyone used this camera underwater? If so, what were your results?

I have a similair set up (coolpix L11) no underwater mode, I just used the "auto mode" and got decent pix. I also used a strobe for most of the close up ones. With photoshop you can get descent pix, not great, but that is why I am upgrading. If you are looking for pix to show your family and say, hey look what I saw, the system will definately do it. I just wanted to get a full manual control camera.

here are my pix

I am far from a good photographer, but the ones in Maui where my best (and the first time I ever took pix underwater).

If you can find a cool pix L11, I will give you a good deal on the housing, but I want to keep the camera for topside photos for now.

By the way, I will be "diving on the 5" for a three day weekend in May. (15-17 or something like that)

I'll be there on the 15th and maybe the 17th. If there is enough interest, I will be there the 18th and 19th for the Lionfish Roundup.
