An old first stage could do two and you still need a first stage anyway

I only have one HP port on my 1st stage. I got a splitter so I could have both the AI transmitter and a SPG for redundancy (OCD solo diver). Don't think I would carry two different AI computers and have a SPG but dive and let dive.
