Converting a console computer to wrist mount??

I have a Uwatec Smart Pro Console and want to change it over to a wrist mount. I don't use a console any longer and this would make a good back up timer. Is this possible? Is it as simple as taking it into my LDS and having them convert it? Is it something that I can do?

I know you could do this with the old style Uwatecs but not sure about the new ones. Mind you i just bought a new strap unit for my Uwatec and it cost me $60!
Check with the dive shop or send Scubapro an email would be my suggestions.
