If I have the following size Metric tanks (Measured by the amount of water in litres that it would take to fill the tank), what would be the USA cubic feet equivalent of these common sizes:

10 litre

12 litre

15 litre

20 litre

Thanks everyone, there is a prize for the first one to answer correctly

The size wouldn't change, it would just be the Imperial conversion.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. (I'm usually the only one that gets my jokes, so don't feel bad if you don't get my humor.)

Now, if you give the working pressure of each, we can determine the imperial equivalents...

......... and some fell on stoney ground!
:D

For simplicities sake, say they were all 200Bar .....

10 litre = 0.353 cf
2250psi tank... 54cf
3000psi tank... 72 cf
3300psi tank... 78 cf
3500psi tank... 83 cf

12 litre = 0.424 cf
2250psi tank... 64 cf
3000psi tank... 86 cf
3300psi tank... 94 cf
3500psi tank... 100cf

15 litre = 0.530 cf
2250psi tank... 80 cf
3000psi tank... 107 cf
3300psi tank... 18 cf
3500psi tank... 125 cf

20 litre = 0.706 cf
2250psi tank... 109 cf
3000psi tank... 143 cf
3300psi tank... 157 cf
3500psi tank... 167 cf

To get volume at 200 Bar, simply multiply the actual cf of the tank by 200.

12 liter... .424 cf/bar x 200 bar = 84.08 cf/200bar

Making any sense yet???

BTW, my calculator fingers are getting numb...

I feel frighteningly at home with all these numbers!!
Keep up the good work, guys- you got it going good !!!
