Contacting Shark Specialists

I have always loved sharks since I was just a little girl, mostly because I have always loved the ocean. For my English class, I have to write a research paper on the topic of my choice and decided to do one on sharks. To be more specific about shark finning and how the populations of many shark species are declining rapidly, and what would happen if sharks became extinct because they are such big players in the oceans ecosystem. I would just like some professional word included in my paper, so I would love to get in contact with reputable shark scientists.
