Hi all, the hose of my console developed a globe in the middle. When I open the tank valve, the globe appears to one side of the hose. The globe isbetween the two yellow marks. It's a generic console.
To change the hose I need to open the console, but there seems to be no way to open it and reach the hose connector.
Any clue on how to change the hose ?

Heat the rubber console with a hair dryer or very hot water to make it more pliable. Next, bend the console between the two gauges being careful not to press hard on the backside of the depth gauge. The SPG should pop out of the console enough to work it free. Push the hose just far enough to disconnect it from the SPG. If you have a plastic pressure gauge REMEMBER TO USE TWO WRENCHES when you remove the hose.

To ease the re-installation, lubricate the hose, SPG & console with KY jelly or liquid dish soap.

Yea, it's amazingly simple as Couv showed. Hot soapy water is your friend. Sometimes I'll use a shot of straight dish washing soap to lube it up.

Be careful not to let ay water into the new hose or gauge.

A very big thanks.
Hot water did wonders.
