I use one on my pony, so I can keep first stage pressurized and not worry about second stage. I tuck a THICK o-ring next to it, so that if I hand the pony off in an emergency, I slide the switch on, the oring pops in behind the sleeve, and the receiver (not knowing about my switch) can't turn it back off after he grabs it. The oring drops into the groove behind the switch sleeve when turned on, and can't be moved back out without a brass tool.
