I surprised I can't find a thread! Not diving but water sports -

Ellen MacArthur fastest person sailing solo round the world!!

Fantastic job!

Rule Britannia! Britania, rule the waves.....

I saw that on the news this morning...Good job Ellen!!!!!!!!!

Goodon'er!

(And in a nice, Oz-built trimaran, too!)

What I found amazing was her sleep patterns. In 72 days the longest sleep she had was 17 minutes - mostly it was under 15. She's one tough lady.

baltimoron:
Yay Ellen!

Anybody know her route? How long it took?

She went round the world  (sorry couldn't resist that one!!)

Ha ha! She started out in Falmouth - South west England, down through the Atlantic - round the Cape of Good Hope (S.Africa) - across the Southern ocean south of Australia - around Cape Horn and back to Falmouth.

I've been to Falmouth. It's a beautiful place.
