Did a couple of dives on the Jodrey this Memorial Day weekend... first of the 2003 season for us.

Anyhow, conditions were less than perfect. Low ambient light, lots of particulate in the water. And temperature still a little below usual for this time of year.

However, it was a fun weekend. Current was light to moderate, vis at depth 30 feet. Nothing much to report in the way of changes since the wrap-up last season. Dives were uneventful from the "Surprise!" perspective. We were using 18/45 with Ean50 and pure oxygen for deco, and running v-planner type profiles for 25 minute bottom times. Think our maximum depth was 217 with most of the dives spent in the 180 foot range back of the wheelhouse for total inwater times a little less than an hour.

Certainly would suggest waiting for better (read warmer) conditions and better vis if possible. Anyhow, dive safe and use helium.

What are conditions typically on that wreck? And can you describe it a bit - lots of people mention it but i've rarely heard much of a review of the dive?

(and does anyone know when things typically clear up in that area - we were in brockville on the weekend and the vis was bad there too and last weekend in alex bay - i dont remember it being that bad at this time of year last year).
