Did a couple of dives on the Jodrey this Memorial Day weekend... first of the 2003 season for us.
Anyhow, conditions were less than perfect. Low ambient light, lots of particulate in the water. And temperature still a little below usual for this time of year.
However, it was a fun weekend. Current was light to moderate, vis at depth 30 feet. Nothing much to report in the way of changes since the wrap-up last season. Dives were uneventful from the "Surprise!" perspective. We were using 18/45 with Ean50 and pure oxygen for deco, and running v-planner type profiles for 25 minute bottom times. Think our maximum depth was 217 with most of the dives spent in the 180 foot range back of the wheelhouse for total inwater times a little less than an hour.
Certainly would suggest waiting for better (read warmer) conditions and better vis if possible. Anyhow, dive safe and use helium.
