I've been out at Joe's the past two days doing openwaters for a private student. Here is the good news. The visibility is the best I have ever seen it there. You can clearly see the cabin cruiser from the surface, police car is visible from shore with 35+ of good visibility. The bad news is it's COOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDD!! 66 at the surface which is not too bad, 60 at 15 feet, 58 at 25 and 46 on the bottom. Plus everything is so covered in algae that when summer does roll and Joe opens. visibility will go to crap just from that stuff coming off of everything

He actually used a dry suit in Devil's Den Fla, maybe he used a 3.2 shorty at Joe's?

Hey guys, lay off! Chris is just cold natured - doesn't everybody sleep in their footy P.J.'s until late July?

I've got 6000 psi of air sitting beside my computer, I've not been in the
water for months.....I'm grumpy and he is an easy target, what can I say!

I look forward to diving with the "cold natured" wimp this spring!

.....but I'll be along on the BlackBeard's adventure in June. Won't have to worry about dry suit then.... this countdown is driving me nuts. I WANT TO GET WET!

I'm shooting for Joe's May 15th to empty these tanks and get ready for
one wonderful week away from work.
These countdowns move too slow!!!!
